Sara Vanden Bon is an artisan designer with an Eye on the Future. From her london studio she creates hats and accessories that are as individual as her clients. Sara believes in style not trends and is constantly looking at ways to make her work sustainable. never mass produced. treading lightly. She explores innovative materials and digital tools.

Fashion Design and craft have always been a passion for Sara. Designing and making from a young age. In 2002 she graduated with a 1st Class BA(Hons) Fashion and Textiles from Nottingham Trent University. Over the years she has worked as a textile designer and an Accessories Buyer. Sara pursued millinery initially as hobby studying short courses at London college of Fashion and Central St Martins. Enthralled with the subject, Sara decided to focus on millinery full time full and graduated with distinction from the highly acclaimed HNC Millinery at Morley College Chelsea centre (formerly Kensington and Chelsea College). Following the course Sara was honoured to be selected as winner of the Longines Millinery Project. Her winning hat was worn to Ascot by influencer Julia Lundin . She interned for the renowned Milliner Jess Collett before launching her own collection. Sara also works as a freelance milliner for Vivienne Lake.
